Content mapping
The Content section of the Card Template tab lists each part of the card: image, title, metadata, tags, description, progress bar, call to action and so on, depending on the template. Each part has a switch to show or hide it, and a live Preview shows the result with a sample record from your index.
Datapoints
Most parts take a Datapoint: the field to show. Datapoints are grouped as:
- Attributes: any attribute in the view's index
- Author: display name, first name, last name, username, avatar URL, author archive URL and website
- LearnDash Data: per-visitor course data, when LearnDash is active (see below)
Choose Custom… to open a Dynamic Data Field and mix your own text with fields.
Images
For the image, choose a Source type:
- Indexed data: an image attribute such as
featured_image - Static image: the same image on every card
Set a Fallback image for records with no image of their own.
Icons and value mapping
Metadata rows can show an icon or small image beside the value. Use a Value Mapping Datapoint to choose a different icon depending on the value: for example, a tick for "Completed" and a clock for "In progress".
Call to action
The button takes a Link (the record's own link, or another datapoint) and a Button label. Its value-mapping table can change the label or link, or hide the button, depending on a value; for example, "Start course" for visitors who aren't enrolled and "Continue" for those who are.
Progress bar
Choose a preset under Show, or Custom… and set a Value and Out of. Leave Out of empty if the value is already a percentage. Switch on Show text label and write a Label format using {percent}, {value} and {max}, such as {percent}% complete.
Per-visitor data
These datapoints are worked out for each visitor when the page loads, so they're never stored in your index:

Course progress presets need each course's lesson count in the index. If the editor asks you to, reindex, then reload the editor.
