LearnDash

When LearnDash is active, SearchSync can filter and label courses by each visitor's enrollment and progress.

Index attributes​

Course records get two extra attributes automatically:

  • ld_group_ids: the LearnDash groups the course belongs to
  • lessons_count: the number of lessons, used by course progress bars

The index editor also offers a LearnDash data type, with enrollment and completion attributes.

Show only enrolled courses​

In a View's sidebar, under Data Source, set Local Pre Filter to Enrolled Courses. The view then shows each visitor only the courses they're enrolled in. Despite the name, this works with every backend, not just Local.

User filters​

Add these on the Filters tab, under User Filters:

  • Course Statuses Refinement List: filter by not started, in progress or completed
  • Enrollment Status Refinement List: filter by enrolled, not enrolled or completed

Card data​

Under LearnDash Data in the card template editor, you can show each visitor's enrollment status, completion status, course progress, lessons completed and certificate link. See Content mapping.

Group access control​

To hide courses from visitors who aren't in the right LearnDash group, a developer can turn on access control for the index using ld_group_ids. See Hooks and filters.
